Each October, Babyloss joins forces with other national charities to run remembrance events and to raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss among the general public and health professionals.

A national charity that provides non-directive support and information to parents throughout the antenatal testing process, to help parents arrive at the most appropriate decision for them if testing reveals that there is a risk of their baby being born with an abnormality.

Group B Strep Support
Group B streptococcus (GBS) is the most common cause of life-threatening infections in newborn babies in the UK - without preventative medicine, GBS infects around 700 babies each year of whom sadly 75 or more die and around 40 survivors are left with long term problems as a result.

The child death helpline

APEC (action on pre-eclampsia)
Action on Pre-eclampsia is a small charity which exists to support women who have had pre-eclampsia. We do this by providing information, educating medical professionals and influencing policy.

The Child Bereavement Trust
Grief in its many forms is one of the most painful experiences that anyone can suffer. Every year thousands of families experience the grief of losing a baby, child, mother, father, brother or sister.

We believe families deserve the best emotional care in such a crisis.

Tamba bereavement support group (twin or multiple loss)
The Bereavement Support Group (BSG) was established in 1982 in response to requests from parents who had lost a twin. Dr Elizabeth Bryan, a founder member of the Twins and Multiple Births Association (TAMBA), recognised the special needs of such families, and with a parent who had lost a twin, began the support group, producing its first leaflet.

Cot Death (The Foundation For The Study Of Infant Death)
The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) is the UKs leading baby charity working to prevent sudden deaths and promote health. FSID funds research, supports bereaved families and promotes safe baby care advice.

Miscarriage Association
We know that miscarriage can be a very unhappy, frightening and lonely experience. If you have been affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy, whether recently or long ago, we hope that you will find here support, information and comfort.
